Welcome to Il Tramonto, a quiet, small-scale campsite that also rents out two apartments.

In the rolling hills of Macerata, Il Tramonto offers stunning 360-degree views of the villages of Isola, Elcito and Castel San Pietro.

Il Tramonto is located at an altitude of 475 metres, which means it cools down nicely in the evenings and at night during the summer. There is a large covered veranda where you can enjoy coffee, drinks and dinner together. At the reception, there is a self-service fridge for cold drinks and ice cream.

There is also a small mini market for basic necessities. Every morning, there are various hot rolls available, which you can order the night before. There is also a lovely swimming pool, a boules court, a trampoline, a football pitch and badminton court, a table tennis table, playground equipment and a wide selection of books and games.

The two charming apartments

Apartment San Pietro is suitable for two to four people. The living area has a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance and private terrace.

Apartment Isola can accommodate four to seven people. It has two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. An extra bed can also be added to this bedroom. Both accommodations are easily accessible for people with reduced mobility.

There is plenty to see, do and experience in the area surrounding Il Tramonto. It is a wonderful place for cycling and walking, for example to Monte San Vicino.

From Il Tramonto, you can also walk to Elcito, which has a rustic restaurant and is the starting point for walks in the Canfaito nature reserve. San Severino, with various shops and restaurants, is twenty minutes from Il Tramonto. With children, you can visit the Grotte di Frasassi caves, go rafting, or visit an adventure or water park. A visit to the beautiful lakes in the area, Lago di Fiastra and Lago di Cingoli — a large reservoir where you can swim, canoe and pedal boat — is also highly recommended.

If you prefer the sea, the beaches of Civitanova Marche and Sirolo are highly recommended.
