Here you will find agriturismi, bed and breakfasts, holiday homes, apartments, glamping sites and other small family-run businesses. VAI operates without commissions and without intermediaries.
How do I book accommodation through VAI!
You don’t book through a booking platform, but directly with the owner. The host’s contact details are listed on each accommodation page. You can contact them directly via email, phone or the accommodation’s own booking form.
Why should I book directly?
Booking directly is often cheaper and more personal. You don’t pay commission to large platforms and you’re in direct contact with the owner. This ensures better communication, greater flexibility and a fairer distribution of income.
What sort of accommodation can I find on VAI!
VAI! focuses on small-scale, authentic accommodation, such as agriturismi, bed and breakfasts, holiday homes, apartments, glamping sites and farmhouses with guest rooms. You won’t find large hotels or chains here.
Is VAI! a booking platform?
No. VAI is not a booking platform and does not process payments. It is a listing platform that connects travellers and hosts directly with one another.
Will I have to pay any extra charges as a traveller?
No. VAI does not charge travellers any fees. You pay the accommodation provider directly, with no middlemen involved.
How do I know if an accommodation is reliable?
Only properties with a valid CIN code can be listed on VAI. You can also contact the owner directly with any questions, to check availability or for further information.
In which languages is VAI available?
VAI is available in three languages: Dutch, English and Italian. This makes the platform accessible to a wide international audience.

How does VAI work for business owners?
As a business owner, you pay €50 per year for a listing in three languages. You receive all enquiries directly, with no commission and no obligations. VAI does not earn anything from your bookings and does not impose any price agreements.
Why doesn’t VAI charge a commission?
VAI was founded to support small-scale accommodation providers in Italy. Large platforms charge high commission fees and require businesses to offer the lowest price via their platform. VAI has opted for a fair model in which the business retains the full revenue.
How much does a listing on VAI cost?
A listing costs €50 per year. This fee includes a listing in three languages, a detailed profile page, photos, contact details and visibility within the VAI network. There are no additional costs and no hidden terms and conditions.
Which accommodation providers can apply?
VAI is suitable for agritourism establishments, bed and breakfasts, holiday homes, apartments, glamping sites, farmhouses with guest rooms and other small-scale family-run businesses. Campsites are listed under KCI Small Campsites Italy and are not featured on VAI.
