My name is Nathalie. In September 2024, I left the Netherlands with my two dogs to pursue a pure, unspoilt life in Italy.

My dream was to create a place where people could truly relax and enjoy nature, tranquillity and the unparalleled warm hospitality of Abruzzo.

B&B Valle del Fino is located in a beautiful valley near the Fino River, about a 15-minute walk away. From the terrace, you have a breathtaking view of the valley and the Gran Sasso mountains. I have transformed the house into a cosy, small-scale B&B with room for up to 10 guests. Each room has a new bathroom.

Outside, you will find a swimming pool and a spacious terrace with various lounge areas. Thanks to its location at the end of a cul-de-sac, you can enjoy peace and privacy here. There is a guest kitchen with a well-stocked fridge, and books and games are available for a cosy evening. If there is sufficient interest, we organise a mountain hike to the sheep herder with pasta for lunch and pizza and barbecue evenings at our B&B, where we prepare the local speciality arrosticini.

Every morning starts with a fresh and extensive breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the mountains. Afterwards, you can explore the region or relax in one of our lounge areas. Abruzzo, also known as the green heart of Europe, is an unspoilt region without mass tourism. This region is perfect for culture and nature lovers. You will find national parks, endless walking and cycling routes, medieval villages and a beautiful coastline.

Pineto beach is 45 kilometres away. I am happy to give you tips for beautiful day trips and nice restaurants in the area, such as La Baita della Sceriffa, where locals gather for barbecues in the mountains. Campo Imperatore is also definitely worth a visit. This impressive plateau in the Gran Sasso mountains offers a unique landscape where you can hike, cycle or simply enjoy the view.

For foodies, a visit to the local winegrower is also a must. Here you can enjoy a tasting of local wines and delicacies. There are also lively local festivities, such as the Valfino al Canto music festival in August and Festa dell’uva e del vino Montonico in October – a wonderful way to experience the real Abruzzo. Would you prefer not to drive yourself? Then I am happy to offer a transport service with my 7-seater car.

Valle del Fino is a place to slow down, enjoy yourself and completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
